The Spectra® Polaris PQ-512/85 AAA Printhead is a high-performance inkjet printhead engineered for a wide variety of industrial and commercial printing applications. Part of the trusted Polaris PQ-512 family, it combines rugged construction, proven materials, and a repairable design to ensure exceptional reliability, consistent image output, and a long operational life.

Equipped with 512 independent nozzles, the Polaris PQ-512/85 AAA supports both single-color printing at 200 dpi and dual-color printing at 100 dpi, offering flexibility for different printing requirements. Its design enables binary jetting with a native drop size of 80 picoliters, delivering precise ink placement at speeds up to 8 meters per second. With VersaDrop jetting technology, operators can also adjust droplet size up to 150 picoliters, allowing for sharper detail or stronger ink coverage depending on the application.

A unique advantage of this printhead is its modular structure, as it is composed of two PQ-256/85PL units that can be easily separated and serviced individually. This design helps reduce downtime and maintenance costs while extending overall product life.
