With a native resolution of 360 dpi, the Epson DX4 features 2 nozzle lines (2 independent ink channels) with 180 nozzles per line, delivering precise ink placement and sharp print quality. Thanks to Epson’s fourth-generation Micro-Piezo technology, it achieves a typical firing frequency of 8 kHz and produces variable droplet sizes as small as 3.5 picoliters. This allows smooth gradients, vibrant colors, and detailed image reproduction.

The Epson DX4 printhead can operate in single-color mode (using both channels for one color) or dual-color mode (using each channel independently), making it versatile for different printing requirements.
